Thursday 28th July

You don't often see me holding an ice cream like this

It usually ends up going pear shaped

Thought you might like to see some pics and vids from the Ealing festival. The sun was shining and we had an ace time.

Getting into the groove, Congo stylee

Little drummer girl

Yey!

On the cars in the fairground in the park (big sis' chickened out)

No need to hold on I suppose if mummy holds me

Had a good session with the speech and language therapist this week - they are very pleased with my progress and have no issues with me.

Daddy just reckons I look cute

Did someone sneeze?

Sat 23rd July

Thought you might like to see some vids to see how I'm getting along. I'm still not getting up on my feet very often, despite my 'very special Piedro shoes' arriving. However I am being very talkative in a babbling kind of way. I'm not bad at recognising numbers and colours and saying 'daddy' repeatedly the moment he comes in from work (I'll have to capture that one day). The Ealing festival has also arrived which means I get to ride on things I don't normally get the chance to in the local park. I'm also going swimming with my big sis every other Thursday, and I am finding it tremendous fun - roll on the holidays!

Back shuffling along the lounge floor

Taking it easy on the sofa (daddy doesn't seem impressed)

At soft play on the slide...

...and on the bouncy castle!

Lots of love!

Saturday 2nd July

Some good news - I went to see the orthotics team on Monday and they said the special boots I'd been in since the start of the year are really not doing my feet any good which is why I am still standing awkwardly. They've agreed to order me some proper boots with orthotic insoles (thanks to mummy fighting for me as they had already once said that they wouldn't consider this for a child under 2). The boots should arrive in around 3 weeks - hooray!

As usually I have been eating terribly this week much to mummy's frustration, but I've been enjoying recognising colours and going to play group on a Saturday morning:

Having fun on the parachute at play group

See ya soon!
