Hello!

Good news on Friday - the dialation of my kidney is not as bad as it was before I was born. I had an ultrasound at St Mary's hospital (my big sis knows it well) and it showed that one of my kidneys is made up of two bits, but it shouldn't be a problem as the dialation (or swelling) is not so bad - must be down to the antibiotics I've been having since I was born.

So I will go back to see a consultant next month to find out whether they want to do any more tests or whether they are happy just to give me a scan every so often. Happy days all in all.

Otherwise I'm getting bigger and stronger and having fun with my big sis at home.

Don't make me mad!


Happy New Year all! I hope you're having a good one. I am still eating and growing, even being a little livelier during the day...

I haven't been many places because the weather has been so cold and my sister has been a bit sick. Luckily we have had some visitors...

Hello Stevie-boy!

I went for my first check-up appointment with the consultant at Ealing Hospital. She was really pleased with my progress although I need to eat a bit more and she told mummy to keep a low threshold on me getting urine infections because of my kidney problem.

Today I went into Kingston on the bus with mummy to see her old work friends and some of their babies too. Of course I was very well behaved.

Next week I go to St Mary's hospital for my first proper kidney appointment - it will be for an ultrasound so they can get a good look at where these ureters are going.
