Thursday 31st December

Tiring stuff, Christmas

All wrapped up and ready to go

I spent my first Christmas on the Wirral with the grandparents. It was already very icy when we got up there from London and then it snowed some more so I had to make sure I was well dressed up for our rare excursions outside:

No babies were harmed in the making of this video

It was nice to get cuddles from Nana Marg

Sometimes I just sat around taking it all in

Oops, Nana Marg again

On Christmas Day (when I got lots of lovely presents) I got to see Aunty Heather, Uncle Herman and the notorious cousin Maia again. I like to think that Maia liked me and is now my good friend (although she does call me 'googly eyes').

Maia was really happy to look after me - she is only nearly 2 and a half

I also got to see Uncle Neil, Aunty Kelly and baby Henry for the first time (as well as the rest of the Wirral crew), but you'll have to see my sister's blog for piccies. I also went to Manchester to see more grandparents on Sunday - we were supposed to go Christmas Eve but the weather was too iffy.

I've had quite an exciting time and I am still gluggling away and sleeping for England.
Snoozing on daddy

I wonder what 2010 holds?

See you soon,

Saturday 26th December

Merry Christmas everyone! Thought you might like to see a couple of videos - a good representation of what my first Christmas has been like:

Lazing around with the hiccups

Cousin Maia pays a visit - she is my new friend!

Tuesday 22nd December

Hi gang! Mistletoe and wine anyone? Not for me thanks, I'm strictly on a milk-sleep-poo only routine. Hope you like the latest photos,

Sunday 6th December

Nana Noz and Grampy John pay a quick visit

Hi gang!

I have been progressing nicely and it was a pleasant surprise to all that I weighed in at 2.5kg last week.

Rebel in a bouncer (oops don't think I should be here!)

I rarely venture out of my moses basket except to be fed - I was being put into the bouncer until the nurse came round and said I was still too small for it.
Is my sister lurking?!

I have been out a few times in our new buggy. The most exciting was going to the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park on Thursday, although you'll have to look at my sister's blog for more on that.
I'm a little more alert these days

On Friday I took a record 640ml of milk in one day - double what my sister took on the same day!
Geroff!

Although I like my milk I am still not a big fan of having my nappy changed or having a bath - I'm quite happy to be left alone thank you (which I think suits mummy and daddy just fine)!

On Friday night we got a visit from Nana Noz and Grampy John who were seeing me for the first time. It was a flying visit but they got lots of cuddles so I think they went back to Manchester happy.

I have also received lots more cards and lovely presents from people - you have all been very generous. Thank you for the vouchers and money I got from daddy's Aunty Pauline and Jim and Emma in Worcester - I will spend them wisely. I got a lovely musical Miffy from the Tordoffs in Holland (it plays the Carpenters - cool! They sent a dress too which my sister will love wearing), a collection of Beatrix Potter tales from Ricky and Rehana in Dubai, some lovely books from Neil and Julia on the Wirral and some lovely clothes from the Kirkhams and daddy's Uncle Dave and Aunty Helen. I know all this sounds like a Radio 1 shout out, but it really is exciting to receive stuff when mummy and I are stuck in the house every day. I also received a card and balloons from Tineke (who helped look after mummy and daddy at the Wimpy in Holland) and Anton in Holland and cards from lots of other people. Thank you again everybody (if I have missed anyone out - sorry, it's a very busy time at the moment!!) - I hope to get to meet you all soon.

Hope you like the new photos...

Lots of love,

Rosa Bean
